My Granma

My grandparents have been moved from their home to an assisted living facility.  It's just a few minutes from my house.  Today we visited them.  She doesn't know who we are, but she smiles at my kids.

Tonight we got to meet the newest lady in our good friends' family.  Theirs plus ours equals 6!

Pony Party

Today was her good friend's birthday.  The birthday girl rode the pony 3 times.  Lauren rode it 6.

The girls were so excited to open a package from their Aunt Amy's visit to Korea.

Girl Scout Horse Camp Open House

N's going to horse camp through Girl Scouts this summer.  Today we went to check out the camp and see the horses.  She's going to have so much fun.

Stirrups

We stopped by my dad's office to get Natalie's cough rechecked and this is what she thought the stirrups on the exam table were for, not quite darling!

After the Tantrum

She's peaceful now because she wore herself out with a 20min + tantrum.  She's so stubborn and REALLY tests the limits and whether I'll be consistent.

Mini Garden

We've never had a garden, this is our first attempt, they are still in containers.  Left to right we have cucumbers, beans, raspberries, basil, tomato & cilantro.

Sock Girl

She used some lonely socks, binder clips, my shoes and a whole lot of imagination to create "Sock Girl" today.  So fun to be 7.

A Sign

I've become keenly aware I need to do more to relax and be flexible.  I saw this truck as a SIGN, gotta try this one!

Jr Magic Dancers

The girls did a dance camp and tonight danced at half time of the Magic game.  They did so great and had so much fun!

Beauty & the Beast Date

Some Brownie Girl Scouts had a mom and me date to see the high school production of Beauty and the Beast.  It was at my high school, felt very old!  Great to have mini dates with each child.

Soccer Friend

2 minutes into the game she realized her friend from school was on the opposing team.  The rest of the game they held hands, chatted about 3 year old stuff and didn't let a little soccer game get in the way of their impromtu playdate.

Lunch Mate

She asks to eat lunch out on the patio almost every day.

Hello Kitty

The Brownie troop visited Petsmart and L loved looking at the kitties waiting to be adopted.  She'd take more home even though we already have 3.

Test Prep

Next week starts the dreaded state mandated testing.  I'm trying hard to not let mine be stressed and tell them it's a snapshot of what they already know.  These pixie stix treats will hopefully help!
